Help for those who help
Support to Defend's mission is to provide mental health education, inspiration and support for first responders and other professionals. Police, firefighters, EMTs, dispatchers, and military personnel have one thing in common, they experience the worst of us. Trauma and the stress it can cause is a regular occurrence to first responders. Yet the resources, policies and support necessary to deal with that stress is lacking (to be polite). We would love to help your agency or organization bridge the gap between policy, resources and the defenders who need support.
